The Lawn Brigade grew out of the Ōmāpere Volunteer Fire Brigade, a way for local firefighters to do good mahi, support the community that supports them, and keep our corner of the Hokianga looking its best. When you book us, you’re backing the same people who turn out when the siren goes.

Both. We’re happy to do a single tidy-up or overgrown-section knock-back, and we run regular rounds, weekly, fortnightly, 3-weekly or monthly. No lock-in contracts.

No. Most regulars are out at work or away when we turn up, we just need gate access. We’ll send you a quick note once we’re done so you know the job’s wrapped.
Hokianga weather does what it likes. If a proper downpour lands on your day, we roll you to the next dry window in the round and let you know, no missed weeks, no chased-up phone calls.
Invoices go out by email after each job (or monthly for regular customers) and are paid by bank transfer. Card payment is available on request. GST is included on every invoice.
Yes, fully insured for public liability. If something on your property is ever damaged by us, we make it right, not something we ever want to lean on, but the cover’s there.

Our core work is mechanical, mowing and line trimming rather than spraying. For chemical weed control we’re happy to point you toward a good local option.
